Wellbutrin Withdrawal and Wellbutrin Detox
Wellbutrin Withdrawal and Detox is the focus of this Special Report by Alex Castillo, a mental health counselor and substance abuse specialist.
What is Wellbutrin?
Wellbutrin, available as Wellbutrin SR and Wellbutrin XL, is used to treat depression.
Wellbutrin XL is also used to treat seasonal affective disorder, known as SADs which are episodes of depression that occur in the fall and winter each year.
Wellbutrin is in a class of medications called anti-depressants. It works by increasing certain types of activity in the brain.
What is Wellbutrin withdrawal?
Long-term anti-depressant use may eventually lead to a serious dependence upon the drug, so serious that one cannot function without the drug.
This hypothesis is confirmed by the many serious Wellbutrin addiction withdrawal symptoms that may be experienced when a person forgets to take a dose or discontinues its use completely.
Though anti-depressants are not likely to be abused, many long-term users develop an anti-depressant tolerance.
What are the withdrawal symptoms of Wellbutrin?
Agitation, anxiety, balance issues, blurred vision, concentration impairment, constipation, crying spells, diarrhea, and dizziness.
What is Wellbutrin detox?
The safest way to withdraw from Wellbutrin is in a substance medical detox program, medical programs that address one’s state of health and specific metabolic needs as well as provide nutritional support, all which help to avoid the worst of Wellbutrin withdrawal symptoms.
